Aid & Attendance
If you are a wartime veteran or the spouse of a veteran, you might benefit from an under-used, special monthly pension benefit called “Aid and Attendance”. The Aid & Assistance program benefits eligible veterans who have in-home care or who live in nursing-homes or assisted-living facilities. This program helps elderly veterans and surviving spouses whose incomes are above the congressionally mandated legal limit for a VA pension by offering special monthly Aid and Attendance benefits for large medical expenses, including nursing home expenses.
