Since 1996, I have worked extremely hard to help my clients in the context of an increasingly complicated legal framework. One of the biggest challenges is explaining to my clients, many who are older and even suffering from dementia, the legal ramifications of our work. I receive a lot of compliments but it hasn’t been until now, July 2015, that I asked clients to share their impressions of my work. I am humbled by the responses so far. I will continue to ask for feedback from my clients and will post them – even if they are negative. (I promise).

What actual clients say:
“Darol has been a wonderful advisor for our family. He has the ability to explain the complexity of the legal world while embracing the human side of any decision that needs to be made.”
“I knew the moment I became acquainted with Darol Tuttle he goes beyond (being) just a lawyer to (having) a deep compassion for those he serves. He is an excellent lawyer and a remarkable human being. I don’t know how I could have handled all the need information and paperwork for our estate. He is easy to be with, friendly and down to earth.”
“Dealing with governmental agencies can be a daunting task. That coupled with the fear of the unknown can make a person downright apprehensive in taking the necessary steps for taking care of their loved one’s long-term care. This leads to procrastination and avoidance, and ultimately extends the pain in dealing with the emotional turmoil.
My mother is 87 years old and receives VA benefits; however, I was unaware of everything to which she is entitled. I would go onto the VA website and click around but wasn’t getting the right information that I needed. Thankfully the site brought me to legal assistance and the name of Darol Tuttle. I made contact with him and briefly explained the situation.
Darol understood our situation and immediately gave me insight into what my mother could qualify for and, if anything, gave me hope that I could get assistance without the stress and anguish that usually comes along with extensive paperwork. On June 5, I had my phone appointment with Darol after filling out a brief questionnaire. By the end of July, all my VA forms were filed and the process began.
His legal assistant, Heather, was responsive and quick to explain everything that was confusing. Her thorough explanations helped me understand the process each step of the way. I didn’t have to deal with the VA or any of the stress of wondering which step was next. They knew the pathways and pitfalls and because of that, the road was relatively smooth.
I have full confidence that all the paperwork is in order because of their experience in dealing with the VA and Medicaid. One cannot put a price tag on this type of assistance. I cannot begin to explain how stress-free this is in comparison to where I would be without this guidance. I believe that without Darol and Heather, I would still be wondering what I should be doing first. Without them, my mother would not be receiving necessary care and at the same time uphold my happiness and patience under such trying circumstances. I am truly thankful.”
